We only collect what we actually need. Right now, that means:

  • Your name and email address — when you join our waitlist or sign up for updates about Chomper

  • Your message — if you reach out via our contact form

  • Usage data — pages visited, time on site, browser type, device type, and approximate location (country/region level), collected through the analytics tools listed in Section 4

  • Cookies and tracking pixels — small files placed on your device that help us understand how people find and use our site, including through advertising. See Section 4 for details.

Your waitlist and contact form data is stored on Wix's servers. Wix is ISO 27001 certified and uses industry-standard encryption. We retain your data only as long as it's needed — for waitlist contacts, until the product launches or you unsubscribe; for contact form messages, until the inquiry is resolved.

Your data may be processed in the United States, where our business is based. For UK users, this constitutes an international data transfer. Wix maintains Standard Contractual Clauses and other appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

7. Sharing Your Data

​We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

  • Wix — our website and data hosting platform

  • Meta, Google, Microsoft — for the analytics and advertising tools described above, in accordance with your cookie consent

  • Legal authorities — if required by law

8. Children's Privacy

ChompSafe makes a product designed to help protect children with food allergies — but our website is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 13 (or 16 in the UK). If you believe a child has submitted data to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.

  • Correction: Ask us to fix inaccurate or incomplete data.

  • Deletion: Ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten").

  • Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interests.

  • Portability: Receive your data in a portable format.

  • Withdraw Consent: Unsubscribe or change cookie preferences at any time.

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and, where appropriate, notify waitlist subscribers by email. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
